The game is amazing. The whole concept is pretty awesome I recommend playing in hero mode the game is pretty punishing for new players.
If you haven't tried it out at this point what are you waiting for, insane replay value. 10/10 would slay the spire again.
Everytime I think I am done with the game, I come back. I do wish they would have added a dlc or something. Just so much game here. Wish more games were like this. It's worth buying on gog just so that Larian gets a bigger cut. You guys are awesome. This game reminds me of what gaming used to be and what it should be.
Didn't expect this game to be as good as it was, reading some of the critics, decided to not go with level scaling, and I have been having a blast. And so far I have no complaints, the game hooked me instantly, it has everything I like. There could always be more content but as it stands it's feature complete and extra content is just welcomed. I have never heard of this dev team but you guys killed it, amazing game.
So it shouldn't come as a surprise but the game is buggy, so far 20 something hours in and no game breaking bugs. Now for gameplay, I actually found it enjoy I'm playing a melee build but I used guns too many melee though, story seems good so far, graphics amazing, music great, the world feels lived in. I love the atmosphere of the game, its by far my favorite part. Now besides the bugs, theres a few short comings that I haven't seen people addressed yet, that are a bit of a disappointment. 1. No car customization????? I swear I thought it was annouced once there will be car customization?? Hopefully atleast as dlc, I feel it would greatly improve the feel of the world 2. After you customize your character there seems to be no way to change anything, not even your hair style????? 3. Also no skill respec?? so far, im fine with my build but id like to try other things later on. So at beast this is a great game that happens to be super buggy, might be best to wait for a few patches, if you plan on getting it. I hope they add more to the game in the future, haven't beaten the main story as I am so side tracked by side quest and other stuff and dont really want it to end yet.
