To put it simply, if you are into old adventure games with text parser input and an '80s flavor, LSL is your thing; otherwise steer clear. The game itself is not THAT bad but can be really hard for beginners and the "adult-oriented contest" are at worst PG-13 in actual standards.

This was one of the first FPSs with polygonal graphics back in the '90s. I used to play on an old N64 and since then it hasn't lost any of his charm. The only flaw is the lack of a save options (the player can only do it automatically at checkpoints), which make the game way harder.

This game came out in 1994 but it's still very enjoyable nowadays. The player gets to manage a team of mercenaries, each with his/her peronality quirks, who have to (re)conquer several key sectors in an island. The commands ar easy to understand, the graphics fine and the dialogues wonderful (albeit a little limited). The only flaw in this game is the somewhat repetitive gameplay: after a while it gets boring.

GK (SotF) is a solid graphic adventure which, unlike its Lucasart counterparts, manages to keep a serious and somewhat realistic tone, relegating the funny parts to some small comic reliefs. The solutions to the puzzles are always logic (even though quite a few are really hard) and there are three endings (only one is canon). The graphics are ok and the vopice acting is very good. I loved it!

Without this game(s) we wouldn't have either "Resident Evil" or "Silent Hill" or many other survival horrors. Yes, the graphics are outdated and the gameplay is silly but the atmosphere is thrilling and every games grants a few good jumpscares and the plot is solid. At this price you can buy it with no regrets. See you in Derceto!
This classic game was already a quarter century old when it was adapted to be released along with its sequel. Sadly this work was somewhat shallow and the only new feature is that the text (formerly on a book) are now present and read aloud; furthermore, the sound effects are "choppy" (at least on my PC). Don't bother with this game at full price and play the old one on DosBox.
