It has so much freedom for creating and roleplaying my character, and with approaching quests/scenarios differently, however companion content feels uneven which was dissapointing. I hadn't tried turn based combat in videogames (as oppposed to tabletop) before but it turns out I love it. And I was able to teach someone who had only played one other videogame with very different controls for decades to play fairly easily, tbf she had played the pen and paper ttrpg though, so didn't need to learn the rules at the same time as the controls. Regardless we had alot of fun with the multiplayer.
