dev here; I wanted to throw in that I can think of no technical reason why a map made for a static world, used and interacted with in a browser, would need any internet connection to work. (except for updates ofc) So I'll have to assume the person in charge WANTED it to require an internet connection and sure has it's resons. Not interested to find out what they are. Since this thing breaks every statement that made me use GOG: no more purchases on my end as long as this is available in store.
