love the story, easily as good as mafia 1 and got me hooked instantly. i love what they did with the remaster, i feel like the improved textures and lighting does make a real difference in game and evolves the immersion in my opinion. although i think this remaster is good there are MANY graphical issues and glitches that do break all the immersion the game had to begin with. tread with caution when buying this game, i liked it and the improvements that the DE offered but if you really hate the glitches and issues that come with this then it is best you stay away from playing this and play the original mafia 2 instead
the game is an absolute master piece has great visuals and amazing voice acting and motion capture. the story is easily one the my favorites of any game i've played and it truely immersed me as i was playing. i have not played the origional Mafia so i cannot speak on how different this game is but i do know that this remaster brought a bunch of life to the game. i cannot rate this a 5 stars because there was a lot of graphical errors and glitches that were an absolute pain to deal with but when it worked, it worked very well. i would reccomend everyone play this game because the story is absolutely amazing but be weary that some people have said the game wouldn't even open them and i myself had to troubleshoot the game for about 3 hours before i got it working and even after i got it working i would still have to tab out of the game when i launch so that the game would actually open. TLDR: absolutely amazing story and execution, visuals are great, but there are a lot of bugs that can range from annoying to unplayable.
the game is pretty fun with a relatively engaging story. most of the missions are similar with some boat rides and stationary sniping every couple levels. so far im having a lot of fun in this game, i think this is a good pass time or nostalgic tilte that you should try if you like stealth/FPS games.
really unique game that is a wonderful little story that everyone should try. i have never experienced a game like this before and its a very refreshing new experience compared to all the generic fps story games out there
