Nemesis is really the best enemy/boss. The fact that he could run after me throughout the map and suddenly knock me down and kill me instantly, makes him a menace. Also the FMV's are great i noticed, especially that scene where nemesis stands up there with his bazooka.
Resident evil 2 is overall a great improvement compared to RE1. It's a damn good game. It has aged over the years, but as a resident evil noob who just started the franchise like a week ago, it's still up there with MGS1, FF7, etc. Also i recommend playing A and B scenario. I chose Leon A and then Claire B. You should do atleast one of each so you get the full story of RE2. A and B scenarios are very different in terms of story/bosses and somewhat in terms of locations.
Even after almost 30 years, resident evil has aged like wine. It's a bit rough around the edges, but overall its a classic, and started a new genre!
Just perfection. The music, the bosses, the dialog, its just perfect.
Its devil may cry. Masterpiece of a series. DMC1 and 3 are one of the greatest games of all time. 4 is pretty good, and 2 you should just ignore.
Wow. It's the first time i have ever played this game, so there is no nostalgia. I was introduced to the series with MGSV:TPP, and i liked that game. I watched tons of videos about metal gear. I decided to get this game since i knew it was really good. I was wrong... it was awesome. The voice acting, the war footage, the character interactions, the gameplay and the music. It all came together perfectly. I dont mind the graphics since i care more about gameplay and i have played a few games from this period (half life, thief 1+2, doom 1+2, etc). I really like the artstyle and the visuals. The codec was a brilliant idea. Overall the game is a 10/10 easily. Would play again.
