Most DLC is just a cynical corporate scam and an affront to the arcade gods, ...but this sure isn't. It adds so much to the base game it's crazy. The extra characters are brilliant, and Survival mode is an insane blast. The new music is great too. So good. This is how it's supposed to be done. All videogames should be made like this. A Zan, Skate and Roo character pack and some bonus campaign levels would be great, someday, but as it stands this is the best celebration of Streets of Rage, and 2D arcade gaming, you could ask for. Shinobi, Golden Axe and ESWAT need to happen after this. FACT!!!

Easily the best pure FPS since Doom, backed up by a god-tier soundtrack. No-one since the original ID team has hit the bullseye like this. 10/10.
