So here it is, finally! After having played through the story once while doing LOTS of exploration and side missions, the only thing I can say is: It was one helluva trip! Having played on PC I probably had the most polished experience of all the platforms which this game was released on. That being said, I very much liked the experience! Night City is a visually stunning and very detailed game world and probably the best I've ever seen so far. The OST and soundtracks within the game are very good! As a huge fan of the deep-house, noise and dark synth genres, this game left no wishes unfulfilled. The story is up there amongst this games strongest qualities. It establishes a very mature and grim world where everyday life for most people is just about getting by and survival. You're basically thrown into a 50 year old grudge between a certain rockerboy and one of Cyberpunks' most powerful megacorps- or so it seems... Until you realize that since the glory days of the 2020's (where the pen'n'paper rpg takes place canonically) nothing has really changed. The Corps, after 4 consecutive global wars, still build their empires on "the broken spirits of the people". Johnny Silverhand is probably my new favourite video game caracter. Seriously you'll have to see it to believe it! It certainly hit my nerve. Being set in a dystopian future, the setting is a very well orchestrated social commentary on the real world of today. It is quite disturbing how accurate and up-to-date themes and topics are presented in this game. Respect! Regarding the overall quality of the product I shurely hope that CDPR will live up to its reputation and after some rest refine and extend the Cyberpunk experience. There is a looooong list of features which were obviously cut from the games current build which I would certainly love to see in my Cyberpunk. It is sad to see how mismanagement and lies have affected the game and quite ironic considering the message behind this game amazing story.
