System Shock® 2 (1999)

A masterpiece of horror.

Arguably one of my favorite games ever created. A brilliant mix of FPS, horror, and RPG in a beautiful cyberpunk package. Many today will much more so know of the BioShock series, which is a spiritual successor to the System Shock series. And if you are a fan of them at all..You absolutely must try this one. It is not a super fast paced action FPS like you would find in Quake or Doom, however it does have moments of such. It is much more cerebral and a "Thinking man's shooter" as I've always put it.

Redline

Fun, albeit not very polished.

This game is one I had a lot of fun with when it came out, and it still holds up pretty well. It is a good hybrid FPS/vehicle combat game. It has a Mad Max feel to it, with the whole "Post Apocalyptic" atmosphere. However, that atmosphere can get a little repetitive as can the level design. The game has its bugs, and is far from perfect...But it is also a lot of fun, and well worth the $6.

Highway Blossoms

Not bad at all. A bit short.

People bashing the game simply for the fact it's anime and a visual novel is just silly. I applaud GOG for expanding in what they offer a bit. Different strokes for different folks. :)
