This is my favorite in the Dark Fall series! Without giving anything away, it has mad layers. It keeps in fashion with the classic Dark Fall spooky puzzle investigation vibe, with a little extra. I enjoyed taking my time to explore, loved the different atmosphers and reading all the things. The puzzles vary so some are instant wins and others make you work for it without being frustrating. You can play Dark Fall 2: Lights Out on its own, outside of the series, since it's more stand-alone. But I do love all the Dark Fall games, this one just tried something different and I loved it! Map props to the game designers.
I loved this game! I played through every possible outcome, character type and ending ( I think! ) and enjoyed every single moment of it. The art is wild and creative, the lore and game felt true to World of Darkness werewolves, the characters were diverse! (LGBTIQ+), the various narrative and RP options were clever, well written and engaging, and there are quite a few hidden gems to find. I've played a lot of visual narrative rpgs and this is by far my fave'. Mad props and thanks to the game designers.
I enjoyed The Symbiant Demo, (and plan to get the full game once it's on sale, since I'm broke af). The art is beautiful, the romance is sweet and steamy, the narrative is easy to follow with enough hook to keep me interested, and the characters are simple, so it's a very easy, chill, visual narrative game. I highly recomend if you just need a feel-good game with gorgeous art. Thanks HeartCore Dev for the game!
