The presentation is really nice, gorgeous pixel art and nice tunes complement each other. The gameplay however is really not that fun: there's no real challenge to platforming, boss fights are simple, the levels have unimpressive design and there are annoying cutscenes that bring nothing to the gameplay (easily skippable though). There are four "hidden" cat pieces on each level, but they are usually just sitting in plain sight and there's no real reward for finding them. After completing the game, which took me about two hours, I don't see any reason to come back to it anymore. It's not expensive and probably worth getting on sale, just be aware that you are not getting much of a game for your money.
This is a great little game to play for an hour (or five) after a stressful day at work. In short: simple mechanics and controls, engaging gameplay, great visuals, charming sounds and high replay value. Great stuff, highly recommend it!
