Silent Hill 4: The Room

Great Port but rather Outdated Gameplay

The port of this game is great with it fully enjoyable without any controller needed. However, the gameplay of this is very outdated, especially the second part of the game. I played and finished the game solely because I don't want to feel like I wasted money buying it and not finishing it. The fact that you cannot run AT ALL during the later half of the game because another character will not be able to follow you is mind-blowingly bad and dragging the game far longer than it is needed. Regarding the later half's gameplay, all the puzzles and maps of the later part is full blown unplayable without walkthrough because it does not indicate where to go or what to do at all. The key items of the later part is also a full blown random item and has no indication where to use and what purpose it serves. Also, there are way too many segments of the later part where it is clearly there to prolong the game to be way longer than it is needed such as blocked hall-ways so you need to circle around. This game heavily relies on nostalgic from the player but feels super outdated and not fun at all playing in this erea.

METAL GEAR SOLID

can be played with keyboard

the port is good enough and the control is good and smooth with just a keyboard (mouse is not supported but using keyboard alone is enough to play).
