This game is phenomenal. It absolutely is. I have thousands of hours of endless fun on it. However, GOG recently decided to "revamp" it with a "new and improved multiplayer function". This is not the case. The multiplayer, and now mods, are completely broken with this game. GOG and Disney have not posted anything on the situation with any intention of fixing the mess they made. If you want a great singleplayer experience, or a fantastic game mode called galactic conquest, buy this, you won't regret it. If you're looking for an "enhanced multiplayer experience", avoid this like the plague until GOG decides to fix the mess they made. If you don't believe me, you can fact check me by reading several articles about the update, as well as reading the comments in the recent patch notes on the Steam version.
