I played Heroine's Quest back when Crystal Shard first released it, still have the files but doesn't wanna run. Was very glad to see GoG picked it up. If it's as I recall, there'll be a bit of grindiness to get all the Sorceress spells and relearning the timing to dodge decapitation swings, but there's a hell of a lot more fun gameplay and exploring (and fights, if you're into those, no worries) than fiddly bits. And it's been a while since casting magic flared my character's eyes and made her hair radiate out. They get the feel right. :-)
