It has an interesting story, but the quests are very repetitive and the combat is very wonky. Collecting loot is a chore, and grinding gold to get better gear or upgrade is a pain. The underlying systems are great and well thought through - just needs a lot of quality of life features to make this game truly enjoyable.
With a stellar voice cast, this game tells a wonderful story of love, mystery, wisdom, and time. I thoroughly enjoyed my journey through Stray Gods and look forward to doing so again to see various endings... And while I know that this is more of an interactive novel than a game, I felt like I could have used more interaction at some slow points in the game. Especially the last few songs I think would have been better if there were more choices... without that it felt like the ending was set in stone long before we reach the trial.
