Utterly engrosing, utterly immersive rpg with lots of different systems and options to deal with situations. Can't unlock a door? Blast it with spells instead. In one combat I got rushed by six or so looters. I threw grease on the floor causing some of them to slip and fall over, then I summoned a magical hand next to an explosive barrel and used the hand to toss it into the grease. One fireball later and five of the looters were down.

Because you find random wands, random spells, random potions and random spells/wands/perks at the temples, the game makes you try many playstyles depending what you can cobble together. Maybe you can get a fast wand, some fast spells and a wand cast perk that turns you into a machinegun guy. Maybe you get a powerful explosion spell you can stick in a hollow egg or trigger spell and become grenade guy. Maybe you will summon minions to fight for you. In one playthough I had the combination of the vampire perk (drink blood to regain health), and the blood cloud spell I could summon whenever I liked to make it rain blood for me. In another I played stealth with the invisible perk and wand that was like a cannon. Every run is different and the game rewards you for being cautions and thinking about your strategy.
