Nexus: The Jupiter Incident

Gorgeous yet lengthy

Nexus was a lot of fun when it came out. The campaign story was unique for a space adventure. The graphics in the ships and combat were cinema quality. One of the most gorgeous space combat games i've ever played. The only downsides were the lengths in every mission (which seemed to go on for hours). That and the horrid voice acting. The story was still strong but the characters were just so bloody dull, I wanted to just mute them and be done with it.

Master of Orion 3

A poor sequel to an amazing genre

When I first heard that Master of Orion was due for a trilogy, I was excited. But then I played the game and it was an epic disappointment. It was clunky from its user interface, research tech tree, and it's fleet management. The only bright side to MOO3: it serves as an example of what NOT to do with the next Master of Orion title (if this installment hasn't killed it?)
