I finished TLJ today after several days of playing, and although it was indeed a long journey, I wanted it to last longer. The whole environment of the game is beautiful, from the music to the lovingly drawn 2D backgrounds, and the voice acting is quite phenomenal. The game also features so many unique and remarkable characters that stick in your head, as well as really funny dialogues. And there are some puzzles that are quite hard, but nevertheless beatable after some trying and thinking. However, some puzzles felt quite unlogical (one is apparently even listed among the 10 most difficult puzzles in adventure games of all times), so when you are stuck, do not feel ashamed to consider a walk-through instead of giving up on the game altogether. I consulted the "Spoiler-Free Walkthrough" by Gossip91, which helped me through a few rough passages. It's also advisable to play the game with ScummVM, which allowed me to play through the game without any flaw. This is the first point-and-click adventure game that I was able to finish. And I'm happy I did.
