Titan Souls

Great game...but I wish there was more

Good: - The soundtrack is varied and absolutely beautiful. Even after completing the game, I still find myself humming some of the tracks. - The scenery is gorgeous. It's very reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus. It did my nostalgia bones good, but it stands on its own too. - The controls are tight IF you use a gamepad - Each boss is unique, tactically and ascetically. I was always excited to see what the next boss would look and act like - It's hard as nails. Both you and each boss die within a single hit. You must hit the boss in the right spot while dodging their attacks. Most bosses took at least a dozen tries, sometimes many more. That can be bad or good depending on who you are, just keep it in mind. Bad: - Keyboard controls are really bad and you can't rebind them. Don't play this if you don't have a gamepad. Just don't. - Fights tend to be really anticlimactic. Usually you either die shortly into the fight, or you kill them right off. The boss's are generally pretty interesting and the accompanying music is great, but I never had time to take it in. I had a good time, but I wish there was more. It took me about 7 hours to get to the credits, but I still have a few bosses to go back to. That will probably take me another few hours. I consider it money well spent, but if you're someone who expects more time for their money, it may not be for you. Overall, Titan Souls does what it does pretty well, but the visuals and audio are so stunning that I wish there was more to it. If were larger and had a more fleshed out story, it could have been truly remarkable, but as it stands it's just GOOD.
