As others pointed out, this is retro-crpg done right. There are only very few flaws, like the weapons you can find and buy (barely the really good ones you are looking for so constant reloading and checking vendor inventory until you find s.th. good), but all in all this is a masterpiece and an absolute artwork!
I really liked this game! It might not be for everyone, but it has a kind of unique style and a lot of replayability! I do not like roguelike-games, but I really do like Curious Expedition!
GOG - Please add this to the preservation program! This is one of the best strategy games I ever played. The first time I played the demo in 1999 I instantly fell in love with this game. Give it a try!
This is still the best blobber ever made.
First of all: every single one of these games has it's flaws, but if you like oldschool rpgs and especially if you like blobbers, you will propably love these. my personal favorite are 4&5 as i love pixel art graphics (and they are pretty artsy imho) and you can combine them to one game.
