I remember hearing about this game back in 2016 and all the hype, followed by poor reviews after release. Then forgot about. Until Covid hit. With more time at home available I decided to look for a game to fill that time. I saw No Man's Sky on sale for $30 and was surprised to see it was still around. I decided to look into it and read that there had been a number of updates to the game, greatly improving it from the original release and decided to give it a try. Over a year later and around 3000 hours of play time it is still my go to game. I play sometimes on PC and sometimes in PCVR and both are great. The VR resolution is not as sharp as using a monitor but it is so immersive! I usually play on the Permadeath setting to increase the challenge level but all the settings have features that make them fun. If you are on the fence, take the leap! You won't regret it (except for the lack of sleep).
