Hello lovelies, I am new to Witcher 3 and I bought the game after next gen update. I know many people are upset because of perfomance issues, but I can clearly say, the issue here aren't the developers, the engine or something else. I respect everyone here, but the main problem is sitting once again right in front of display. In Short: Amazing graphics, RUNS SMOOTHLY! Deep dive into the issue: Before I start to explain why these issues persists, let me share my PC specs. It's basically Radeon RX6900XT, Ryzen 9 5900x (PBO active), 32GB ram 3200mhz. Now this is for sure a pretty strong PC, but it doesn't require something similar to run without lags or stuttering. Also to mention, I play on a resolution of 2560x1440, my in game settings are RT ULTRA, but I turned Motion Blur and Chromatic aberration off. While using these settings, I did get 75-100fps, but even for me it wasn't smooth, yes even for me! But once again, this isn't fault of devs, they did great job. Easy fix: If you are experiencing the same and especially if you are using RT/RT ULTRA, please limit your fps. Attention, even if you set your limit to 60, you will still get more fps. so not only limiting in game, you also have to limit directly in AMD Adrenalin Software or Nvidia Control Panel, depends on your GPU. The most important part is to stay below 60 fps! Thats why Cyberpunk felt with 40-50fps smoother than Witcher with 80. CD Projekt has the best RT I have ever seen and it's because they implementing the whole package and not like other games only shadows. You get here 100% RT and that's hitting so hard. Thats why you have to limit your fps. Dedicaded RT Gamers has a sweet spot of 48fps, this alows run the game smooth and look incredible at same time. I did a short Youtube Video, I am showing there the issue + how to fix (KEEP IN MIND, recording is additional workload to GPU and can cause issues too): https://youtu.be/2u6YjK5UMRo
