Amazing driving game

If you liked games like Flatout 1 or 2 you very likely will love this. It's a destruction derby like game. Driving feels very good, has enough variation and gameplay feels polished. It's just fun wrecking other cars while paying attention to not getting your own car wrecked or racing without that to the finish line as fast as possible. From my impressions feature parity with other digital distributers (Steam) looks very good. I didn't find any options missing. Crossplay (Online multiplayer) with Steam, Epic, Microsoft Store (PC) is planned and as of now I was able to get into Steam matches pretty easily. (09th March 2023, Version 1.0i) There is a LAN option available, but somewhat requires Galaxy to run fully functional. All in all it's nice to see that THQNordic cares for GOG and delivers great releases again and again.

Finally - a proper racing game on GOG!

I can hardly believe it - a modern, sort of AAA racing game, on GOG!!! Great news for the true GOG-gamers that don't use any of the other stores. I've played around with this for 1-2 hours now, with my XBOX-controller, having a blast. It looks great, and the driving and destruction models are perfect! It's not very clear though how the game works - what do the car classes mean, how are you supposed to play it, what about XP and credits, or the different game modes, nothing is explaind it seems? But whatever, you can play a custom game on any of the tracks and just have loads of fun :) I guess the idea is that for every race you complete you gain in level, and that unlocks parts (and hopefully new cars) along the way.

Best racing game, but GOG botched LAN!

This game is the best casual multiplayer LAN racing game out there, by far. Awesome 5/5 stars. However, GOG has botched up their packaging of the game, and as result the offline LAN multiplayer support for this game does not work. The GOG version of the game is hardcoded to attempt to connect every player with the same user ID "99642141755572224", and after the first GOG user who joins the server, no subsequent players who installed via GOG can join the server. The game will give an error "Already logged in. Retry?" to those players. If you want to have LAN multiplayer, your players will have to buy the game via Steam instead, and your LAN event networking setup must have online Internet connectivity for all players. Sigh. Please, please GOG fix the game packaging so that it can be played in truly offline LAN events!

Great Game; Different Version

The GOG release of this game is a different version from the one uploaded to Steam. Multiplayer is inaccessible because of this issue. I have the game on both GOG and Steam which allowed me to confirm this issue. Otherwise the game is one of the most fun driving games available right now.

Oh HELL YEAH!

This game hits the sweet spot between technical driving games and arcade smash-em-ups. The driving and damage physics are amazing. The customizability and tuning is just enough. The graphics look good and smooth, even on my semi-potato laptop. This isn't just destruction derby (until it is), it's short track dirt racing, and time trials, and a very easy build-yer-own race creator. I've seen no bugs or real glitches. The UI could be better. Turn off the in-game music. It sucks balls, and covers up the well-done sounds of tires, gears, screaming engines, and sand. Call it half-way between Forza and Flatout. Part technical racer, part smash-mouth "I SAID get out of my way!" Completely recommended, if this kind of game is your kind of thing. Bonus points, it work perfectly on my new Steam Deck.
