Worms Armageddon

I used to own Worms Armageddon on the Sega Dreamcast back in the day, me and my friends probably put in a couple of hundred hours passing around that Dreamcast controller. A top 10 favorite game of mine easily. Glad I own it on GOG now, I’m going to have to get a Dreamcast usb controller rigged up for maximum nostalgia feels.

I worked 3rd shift tech support at an Internt provider back in the late 90s/early 2000s. Fun times - helping people that had never used a computer connect to the Internet via dial-up. But that's a story for a different forum. Between 2am-6am there weren't many incoming calls. So my co-worker's and I played WA for literally hundreds of hours over the years. We all got insanely good, and these were absolutely awesome matches. I recently returned the game via GOG and have three observations. 1) This game still rules. I thought maybe I was viewing it through rose tinted glasses, but having layed it again, this is just a pefect action/stategy game, lots of options to modify the rules of matches, you can customize weapons, etc. Endless replayability 2) Servers are still online and has an active community!!!!!!!!! 3) I really lost my skills over the last 20 years. I need to practice, got my *** handed to me

Worms Armageddon is still a great game in 2018 : it works well and is good-looking in modern resolutions (tested in 1920*1080), it still is a lot of fun with all the crazy weapons. So dont hesitate to get it :)

Just played with my girlfriend, like ten years ago. Fun and awesome, works like a charm :)

Excellent game, great memories. The game runs really smooth in modern machines (mine is from 2012, not that "modern" though), sound is awesome and it's always a lot of fun. Gameplay is really nice as well. I can easily forget time while playing it. I give it 4 stars because you can't change controls within the game (you have to use 3rd party tools for that). Besides that, I totally recommend it, specially with that amazing price. Cheers.
