Worms Armageddon

This game is really fun when you're passing time, and even more fun when played as a party game with friends. I play both campaign and with my friend and it is really good fun. The $15 price point is a bit high for a 21 year old game, but to be fair the devs keep updating it and it runs great on modern systems. Overall I would give it a 4.5 star rating

Great MP game for everyone. Try playing it in Hotseat with someone who ACTUALLY HATES videogames or DOESN'T CARE for that stuff and see how they laugh and enjoy themselves. Afterwards you converted them to play games. Tap yourself afterwards on the shoulder. Nuff said, son. Go get it

The game works fine but if you're want to play online you need to install WormNAT2 add on. Also higher resolutions increase field of view and looks ok on full HD but for WQHD or higher I recommend to add also DxD9Wnd to play in window and set resolution to FHD or lower.

As a player of other Worms games, I can say this is the best one for multiplayer. Not only is the game loaded with weaponry and customization is great (as long as you don't crave for the hats in later games), but its multiplayer is also client independent, meaning you can play with people owning the Steam or disc versions just fine. You can generate your own maps using the predefined themes or download maps from online (hell, even make your own), create game different game rules, control weapon and health crate drops, all the magic for a multiplayer game is there. For almost 20 years later, not only is this game still alive, but it is still the best Worms game you can get for the multiplayer. For the best single player Worms experience, you can perhaps go for Worms Forts, available here on GOG.

A great little game. Offers many customization options. The sound banks are hilarious, the gameplay is fun, graphics (still!) look great. An evergreen. My only disappointment was having to grind through the training missions to be able to continue the single player campaign.
