Game is unplayable, no cursor control

I loved Thief Gold and Thief 2 when I played them back when Eidos originally launched them, so I thought I would give Thief 3 a play, especially since GOG was giving it away through Prime. However, it is unplayable because there is zero cursor control. Eidos wasn't smart enough to also include keyboard controls in the Options menu so you can't even tabe over to the Input section to change the settings. With no working mouse cursor, you can't pick anything up or change any settings, making Thief 3 completely useless. Great job guys.

Very Fun Game

I have loved this game since it came out many years ago. The story is well written, the graphics are solid and have aged well, the mechanics are simple and are fun. It happens to be the only game in the franchise that I was able to hold my attention (although I think the other were great in their own right).

A Flawed end to a great Franchise

I didn't expect to like this game, judging by the reviews it was a held back, flawed entry done by a different studio, but oh boy were my expectations surpassed. I played the modded version that reverted all of the odd additions and limitations caused by the game being primarily developed as an Xbox title, the frequent loading zones, the crappy UI etc. and I had a very pleasent experience safe for a few bugs. I actually really liked the body awareness when playing in first person, seeing my own shadow being cast by lights, having to watch out to not knock over any items off a desk, it really grounded the character in the world for me. The story was also great, a satisfying end to a franchise that I started playing around 2 years ago. Overall I really enjoyed my time with this title, not as much as the other 2 games but still a great time.

perfect game

At the time being it is the almost perfect game to who likes combination of action and stealth in approximation of reality. The intresting story is the nice addition to the very atmospheric game.

Amazingly immersive

It is my third time I have played this game and now I finished Thief 2 before I started Thief 3, so I can compare now. TH2 was very good, amazing level design, audio and story. All together very immersive. But technically it grew old badly. Even I used HD mod, you can not mask game is 25 years old... I like TH3 more, because it improved every slice of the game. Open city to explore, amazing maps and locations. Also story and atmosphere are brilliant (lighting, audio and architecture of the City), especially Shalbridge Cradle level is something you will not forget for loong time :)
