Fun investigations and full of character
A fantastic adventure game fully deserving of the high ratings on GOG. The vibe is part cosy, part mystery. The characters are nicely sketched and interesting to learn about. The puzzles are almost all intuitive, with only a couple of stumbling points. I really liked how much leeway the game allows in how deep you investigate each problem.

A "Classic", in more ways than one.
A great throwback to the Sierra-Style adventure games, though I understand why games moved from parser to point-and-click.

great retro style
absolutely love the art and animation! Top stuff! This is also the best text parser interface I've ever seen. Easy to use, lots of shortcuts, should set the standard for a modern text parser.

Excellent game
I loved it! I got invovled with the characters and story, to the point where I really wanted to solve the extra mysteries. The graphics are beautiful and the writing has an excellent style, shifting tones delicately throughout.

Oldschool detective work
This is a huge love letter to Sierra's Colonel's Bequest with similar layout and mechanics. It lacks the flaws of it's ancestor and both the story and gameplay feel way smoother. Great game if you feel the itch for an oldschool detective game :)
