SWAT 4: Gold Edition

Even tho this game is quite old now, it's still one of the best tactical shooters on the market. The gameplay further improves with mods like SEF. 100% recommend this game!

It's downright stupefying that nobody even attempted to create a proper SWAT sim since this was released. It's been over 15 years and to this day this game/franchise is literally the only option available to gamers who actually want to play a REAL police tactical shooter, where you actually get to act like a SWAT guy, and not just mow people down on sight. The concept has so much potential, I really don't understand why nobody jumped on it since 2005. Anyway, I'm deducting 1 star for minor technical issues and the ridiculous reaction time of some of the NPCs. Other than that, this game is a classic, and it still very much holds up, especially in MP.

To be fair For 2005 this Is an amazing tactial Game in this Game you play as One of the Memebers of the Swat Team. The thing about this game is that you have to be Non VIolent/Lethal as much as possible Sometimes The Enemies dont give you the option but to Use Lethal Force and i think its a nice little Gameplay Element. Giving out Orders To your Squad Memebers Makes the Game very realistic Breaching the doors With Flashbangs settle charges or Shotgun blasting Handcuffing enemies Or securing the hostages makes the game Fun and Realistic which is why this Game is Very much Replayabale. Level Design is phenomenal Dark and Gritty Design. And Sometimes at most parts it can get Scary Like the Satanic Cult Level it can get Dark and Scary but its what makes the Game Fun Do i Recommend the Game Hell yes I do I highly Do reccomend this game Its at top one of the best 2005 games and still holds up Respectfully till this Day Of Course AI teammates aren't The Smartest but its Why i Recommend Downloading the Mod Swat Elite Force it does not Ruin the Game at all It Makes it Better It improves the game Abit more Adds More guns And Improves AI abit more So i highly Suggest it To buy this game and download the Mod for this game

Played a bunch with some friends. Once you get the controls and gear down its a blast. Ive cleared buildings and rooms before as an LEO and this game gets the pre-entrance anxiety down very well and requires you to think about what youre doing. Old school but top tier, especially with the homies.
