No Linux is Adobe's fault
This is a fantastic game, but please don't give it a one star review because there is no Linux version. This game uses Adobe Air, and Adobe no longer makes or supports a version of Adobe Air for Linux. Criticizing the game and it's developer for that for that is unfair, especially when they're such a small company that obviously put a huge amount of effort and heart into the game.

Samorost 3 delivers in every way!
So yeah, i picked this up since i love puzzle games and have played samorost 2, and samorost 3 blew my expectations. First of all the artwork is one of its kind. its simple, but beatiful and the characters interesting and adorable. The whole game i kept wondering how the next area was gonna look like, feasting my eyes on a new location was reward enough for advancing through the game. And the puzzles of course are genius. by moving further from "try every item on every object" and moving towards innovative, original and fun puzzles, (including music puzzles!). loved the story because it didnt go over the top. Litterally porn for the eyes! If you like puzzles, this is a nobrainer. (pirate for 100% discount)

Amazing production values
It's fair to say I'm a little biased. I have played through both Machinarium and Botanicula several times as well as the previous Samorost games. It seems like we have been waiting for a new Amanita game for ages so I was very excited to download this game. Samorost takes everything Amanita does to the next level. Both graphics and sound are off the charts in their attention to detail. The producers have clearly spent the last five years fine-tuning every aspect of the game. As with the other Samorost games (and Botanicula) the puzzles are not very difficult and usually solved intuitively. Most people will barely get stuck in this game if they simply study each scene for action points (when the cursor changes to a hand). Like in Machinarium, if you do get stuck there is an in-game hint book anyway. I can't think of a single criticism for this game except that it felt like it took forever to come out. I am really worried that their next game (if there is one) will take another 5+ years to be released.

Blown Away
This game blew me away. It made me fly in space effortlessly like its spectacular space-airship. I loved every minute of this short but wonderful game. I loved the artistic imagery, the sound effects and the incredible music. The story, though minimalistic, is well conveyed through images (no real language or written words used here) and is really well attuned to the mythical-dreamy qualities of the environment and characters. To me, this is a masterpiece. It is one of the best experiences I had playing games. However, your mileage may vary drastically. Keep in mind this is a Point and Click adventure, which means it has almost no replay-value. It is also quite short. Plus, being dreamy/feel good, it may not sit well with you, particularly if you like realistic situations/environments and life or death challenges. If you liked other Amanita Games, it is more than probable you will like this also. Again, to me this is one of the best games I have ever experienced and I eagerly look forward to other Amanita Games offers, even though I know it will be a long wait. Thanks Amanita guys!
