Pine is an open world action adventure simulation game. Set in the beautiful world of Albamare, you take on the role of Hue, a smart young adult who will have to explore, trade, and fight his way through a vibrant world filled with creatures much smarter than humans.
Their Story Becomes Yours
As you're looking for a new home for your tribe to settle in, you'll have to engage with the large-scale ecology of Albamare. Prepare by exploring, bartering, talking, crafting and fighting in six different biomes, with and against a diverse cast of species that will not simply help you.
A Struggle for Survival
In Pine, things will happen across the open game world even without your involvement. All organisms are alive and will try what they can to survive. You can choose to befriend a species, fight alongside them, or you may also to attack them, steal their food or force them to abandon their current habitat. All of this will make the species move across the ecological spectrum.

I'm in the middle of the beginning tutorial. The story at this point remind me of Terry Pratchett's "Nation". Every game that reminds me of a Pratchett book is a good game!
If you have issues with the lunge attack: press left-shift for a moment, wait for the evade movement, then press left-mousebutton. Took me a while.
The camera movement is far too fast and motion sickness inducing. Beware.
I'm very much looking forward to completing this game. Even after 10 minutes I'm getting a feel for the characters and am very curious of what we'll find out there...
On the surface, this game looked beautiful. A bright, vibrant world filled with places to explore and races to interact with. The idea was also very interesting.
However the camera is controlled with the mouse. Very bad design because one little move of the mouse can twirl the view all around. What's really weird, when I was playing the game and moving the camera around I'm suddenly looking at nothing more than the character's teeth and gums.
After a cut scene it was critical to talk to one of the villagers to progress the game, but I couldn't because he was floating up in the air. You can also "swim" down a waterfall.
Anyway I fell off into the world below and was stuck down there, not knowing what to do because the game auto saved.
To sum it all up, the graphics are nice, it's an interesting plot but I just couldn't play the game because it the overall mechanics of it were so poorly designed.

Чарущая атмосфера,музыка и дизайн,И все это прекрасно ,но плохая оптимизация порой понастоящему портит впечатления. Пожалуйста,дорогие разработчики,не забрасывайте проект и допиливайте его. Игре просто НЕОБХОДИМА более сильная дальность прорисовки ,ну и оптимизация ,конечно же. В целом ,Если вы из терпеливых,то могу посоветовать. Игра правда погружает вас в сказку ,Как это когда то было с первым фейбл,но только вместо линии сюжета вам предлагается большая песочница.
Great story, nice graphics, love the gameplay overall. I do not have any problems with the performance. Running a gtx970 i4400.
Considering the developers made this with only 7 people it's a true achievement!
so it sounded good, and a brief discounted period made it v. cheap - so I tried it.
I stood it for 25 mins (according to Galaxy) before giving up in disgust.
All those AI-driven character who "respond" to what you do? They just stand there like wooden poles, doing nothing - just standing there - until you poke them for conversation.
They babble (universal language?) except at least half their lines aren't voiced, just silent text. It's hard to tell from the dialog popup who says what - is it the player-token, or the bean-pole in front?
Crafting - pathetic. You are prompted to get some, ok "rope" (stuff), and get a quest marker and spoon-fed the ingredients. No skill, nor interest.
It's supposed to be "open world" so I tried exploring, only to be bounced back to a nearby "relevant" point, quite suddenly but repeatedly.
Bored by now, I tried more, to discover that "some" but not "all" of the off-the-edge falls will kill your character and throw you out, but most don't. So you get careless, only to get a nasty shock. Well, actually I was relieved by then, and could not bring myself to restart, so I uninstalled the game and had done with it.
Coming from Skyrim, just repeat-finished, there really is no competition. Skyrim isn't perfect, and some of the AI routines for NPCs are repetitive, but at least they look like they belong and live there.
