Build your settlement on the newly discovered continent of Northgard! Assign your Vikings to various jobs and manage your resources carefully to survive harsh winters and ferocious foes. Expand your clan strategically by chasing conquest, fame, lore or trade victory. 
Survive and conquer the unforgiving wilderness of Northgard by mastering the unique attributes of the many different clans that inhabit the continent! Each clan has its own unique specificities, bonuses and features, introducing new ways of playing and methods to achieve victory. 
Conquest mode.
Choose your clan and fight through a number of unique scenarios and situations! Northgard Conquest is a standalone game mode that can be played solo or co-op, with a succession of various challenges offering a gaming expansion of 100 hours. 
Multiplayer mode.
Play in multiplayer with or against your friends in various game modes! Pick the lobby you want and face off against other players to experience a unique level of challenges. If you’re a veteran at the game, test your might in ranked lobbies to prove you’re the real king of Northgard! 
Story mode.
The Viking High King is murdered and his Regal Horn is stolen by a man named Hagen. This event kickstarts a saga that will take Rig, his son and heir accompanied by his right-hand man Brand through the new continent of Northgard to discover the reasons behind his father’s assassination.

Very nice little Strategy Game
I have enjoyed many hours of Northgard and I keep coming back, it takes some getting used to and patience to like the game.

Очень добротная вещь
Отзыв от нелюбителя жанра (в свое время из RTS нравился разве что первый Age of Empires), не для флегматронов это всё ) Ну так вот, что здесь хорошо: - сеттинг викингов: сколько игр уже по нему, но не приедается - геймплейно удачно вплетены элементы Сеттлерсов и Цивилизации - и даже немного выживача (например, если зимой остаться без дров, то народ будет ходить полумертвый и станет легкой добычей для врагов) - из-за ограничений на количество построек поначалу приходится все серьезно планировать - вообще игра для любителей микроменеджмента - залипательна (цивин "ну еще один ход" превращается в "ну еще один год") Из личных капризов: мне не хватает паузы для раздачи приказов - конечно, в одиночном режиме. Постоянные мисклики, ну я ж говорю, не мой жанр ) Твердая 8/10, выше ставлю только самым любимым игрухам )

Could have been great
I feel like the game had a solid start but then devs lost interest and left an unfinished product. Some parts of the game are even unplayable (including the campaign scenario) which left me rather disappointed and after a few days of playing I never wanted to come back.

No Multiplayer even with Galaxy running.
The title states it. I bought this SOLELY for multiplayer but even while having Galaxy running, even having installed NG through Galaxy, it insists that I am "not connected". Has been through several updates since then and also through two Galaxy updates, no change. No version of Galaxy, even the old 1.2.x, has worked. All other titles multiplay just fine, and obviously my internet connection is working, otherwise Galaxy would have failed to download this in the first place. Changing the region ingame only makes things worse because it gets stuck in a server finding loop and greys out even the singleplayer "Bifrost" campaigns until the game is restarted. There is no meaningful error message, no log, nothing to help me diagnose or remedy or at least point out the cause of the issue. Very bad coding practice, makes debugging near impossible. This is on Windows 7 which is listed as being supported. -2 stars for not working MP -1 star for lack of error diagnosis -2 stars for requiring Galaxy at all Zero stars in total, but I seem to have to give at least one, so +1 start because it at least starts.
