Myst Masterpiece Edition

You must love puzzles! If you don't love puzzles, skip this game. Also the graphics (even though they have been improved from the original) are still pretty bad by modern standards. You might want to consider the realMyst version.

Nostalgia! And maybe that's it.

I'd love to call Myst a puzzle game for the ages, but behind it's at-the-time stunning visuals, the puzzles just aren't very good. They're often incredibly obtuse, strange and non-sensical, even for an adventure game. I feel all warm and fuzzy thinking back to the time I spent with Myst when it came out, but I'm not sure I'd be able to stand it today. Still, at $5.99, it's a great piece of gaming history if you haven't played it.
