Explore the chambers of the mysterious Aztec pyramid! Climb the stairs and ropes, collect keys to open doors! Collect the jewels & swords, and the coveted torch! Beware of the snakes, skulls and spiders! And finally, find the treasure room at the end of the underground labyrinth!
It has all the original key features of the original Atari classic plus a number of interesting new improvements. Including a modern mode with all new graphics and audio!

Still holds up!
I loved playing this game back in the day and was surprised to see it show up in the store. The game as a whole still holds up. The jump is definately old-school and difficult, but fortunately they added a continue option so it's possible to keep practicing without starting at the beginning. The new graphics are also really nice while still keeping the spriit of the original game.

Just like I remembered
I spent soooo many hours playing this as a kid. Still has the tricky controls... but that is how old games like this worked. Love how they have both modern and retro modes. New graphics, sound, and effects are hilarious. Lots of fun! Minor nitpick....I wish the developers would add a V-Sync option. Had some sheering issues when scrolling and there doesn't appear to be anyway to fix it. Otherwise works great.

Love this Game
Though this game name means a self-limiting episode of diarrhea that results from eating food or water that is contaminated with bacteria or viruses (LOL) this game is Awsome, I played this on my Atari XEGS thinking this name was a joke but ended up one of the best games, i had to buy this and this has not let me down!

Blast from the past
Great game. One of my favorites from the C64 era. Unfortunately, as of version 1.31d, this game is incredibly buggy. I do not remember the last time a game crashed on me, yet this one does so frequently during gameplay. It also occasionally corrupts your saves, so you are not able to resume, and the GOG scoreboard seems to be broken at the moment. The "extend game" window that appears when you lose all your lives also causes freezes sometimes, forcing you to terminate the game process in Windows. The 4-star rating is for the game itself. If the developers fix this bug-ridden mess, it will be an excellent gaming experience, especially for those who played the original back in the day. As others have mentioned, it remains pretty loyal to the 1984 classic, even in "Modern" mode. Bugs aside, it is still a fun game to play after all these years!

Probably my favorite childhood memory
The one game I mastered to the extent I could pretty much play it blind (and in latter levels had to) as a child. Great to see this here in a version I can enjoy on modern computers as well. And still as good as I remembered.
