Let it rock!
For me this game picks up where Duke Nukem 3D left off. It's puts you straight back to the 90s and in a very good way. It's all smooth and super solid. Sure the graphics is hotter but it still got the same feel as Duke 3D and i looooooove it :) Instant classic!

Lotsa of fun
I had way more fun with this than I thought I would. This game is SOLID. They took the best of both worlds, kept the nostalgia factor but also added modern features like decent mouselook, resolution handling etc. The level design is absolutely top notch. Levels are tight and keep you busy as expected on a fast paced shooter. Most of all, I think they nailed the difficulty really well. The game is challenging and fun without being punishing, with the exception of a couple of boss battles.

Game is great... for now
First of all, I'd like to notice, that my review appliable only for 1.0 version of the game that we have at the moment. I do not know how that whole story with some permanently offended people will turns out, but netherless of that sad fact, this game in its current state is great. Ion Fury is beautifull retro-shooter game. Basicaly it is Duke Nukem 3D-like but with some improvement like mouse aiming and some collision detection. There is no need to raise memories about arrow controls - all work fine on WASD+mouse. Best thing about this game is that atmosphere of 90s shooter games - that 2D models of enemies, a LOT of nostalgic easter eggs, but best thing about that game is the soud effects and music. Seriosly - just try to close your eyes and list to that - it almost feel like you're back in 1996 having your very first 3D-shooter experince (actually get that experience only in 1999, because before that I didn't have any speakers for my intel 486 :)) That's all that I wanted to say about the game. Now a few words about the censorship. First of all - any attempt to make some in-game changes that doesn't have bugfixing or improvement of gameplay as it's goal is censorship. This game is perfect as it is and doesn't deserve to be treated like that. Long story short - any censorship is bad. There always will be people, who do not like this or that, that fine - everyone have its opinion, but authors, developes and publishers should stand their ground. No matter how loud some people are, their opinion isn't more valuable that any other. And majority of players didn't find anythig offensive in this game content. P.S. People, be nice to each other and give some support for developers - they do not deserve to be defamed like that. P.P.S. ResetEra - f*** **u
