You can do this by installing custom patch to this game. you can find it on interstate76(dot)com write here in reviews section and i will try to point precisely where patch is available. Tested and working behind NAT using UPNP:) i cannot put here direct links due GOG limitation. you can use any internet connection now.

Hey stampeed how about a poem
I love this game. It's really a classic 5 stars for sure. Disappointing thing is this version on gog doesn't seem to be able to run in 3d accelerated mode which made the game look loads better even back when I was playing it in its heyday. The mine sound effect glitches after one mine is dropped and won't stop the rest of the match. The game crashes with dll errors. A bit of a shame. Some of the fixes suggested have side effects of faster sky and bugged ai. The game runs OK overall and the funky soundtrack and single player story is still a blast to play. If you can get a few friends together for some multi player this game is a really fun way to pass some time. Weapons feel satisfying, cars have a mix of arcade and realistic physics. If you don't mind playing this game in hardware rendered mode the game is a lot of fun. Interstate 82 looks better, but is a far worse game. If you end up getting this on sale and only want the music it can be found in the games root directory as mp3 files. Still sounds good. Really funky and professional sounding. This game deserves an HD remaster and some bug fixes.

In D3D...
I never managed to play this using a D3D/Glide driver so I had to play it using sw rendering.

Fix for Rainbow Graphics
Play in 640x480, other resolutions can cause rainbow textures on objects. Makes little difference playing in such a low resolution since the graphics are so old anyway.

Awesome game
Great game. I had it when it first came out years ago and just downloaded it again from good old games. It works perfect for me right away. I am not sure what the problems are for other people to get it to work. I am using it on a pentium 4 with windows xp and a very old graphics card (mx 440).
