Classic - still just as enjoyable!
This game really stood the test of time - they should go back and start developing again from heroes 2

The very best
It was one of the first games i have ever played. Me and my brother used to play it day and night. He would disagree, but this is actually my favorite of the series. Maybe that is because i loved the continuation of the 'good campaign' storyline in Might and Magic VI. If You liked this one, make sure you get MMVI when it comes out on GOG.

As awesome as I remember.
I still remember the day that I first played this game, and it has been a long time since i have had to chance to get my hands on it again. This was really my intro to TBS games and it still is one of my favorites. Compared to the other HOMM games (and i have played all of them) i really like the way that each faction is layed out. Their aren't too many units that are useless and each faction has its own unique feel. I think everyone should get this game period.

An entire Youth was spended on this!
Ahh. HoMM2 was probably THE game in my town, and as I remember it, then we were mostly playing this in our entire youth - Hot seating of course. And I will not lie. This game only reminds me of positive things, and never has an game utterly comsumed me like this did. I can proudly say that I am a HoMM2 addict :P
