A build containing the Union Patch is now live in GOG Galaxy and via offline installers. The classic version of Gothic is available on "Vanilla" public branch in GOG Galaxy and as an offline installer in "Extras" section.
Королевство Миртана охвачено ужасной войной. Орды орков вторглись в земли людей, и король нуждается в большом количестве магической руды, из которой производят превосходное оружие. Если человек совершил хотя бы незначительное преступление, его сразу отправляли добывать руду на остров Хоринис.
Целую область, названную "Колонией", окружили двух километровым магическим барьером, для того, чтобы заключённые не могли сбежать. Войти на территорию барьера может кто угодно, но обратно никто. Барьер был абсолютно изолирован от внешнего мира. Заключённые воспользовались этим и подняли восстание. Колонией стали править три воинствующих лагеря. Король был вынужден начать переговоры с заключёнными о поставке магической руды на любых условиях.
Вы были брошены в эту тюрьму. Вы должны сами решить на чьей стороне вы будите и найти способ покинуть барьер.

One of my favorite games
I played this game 4 times and it's my favorite rpg ever. The storm is realy deep and filled with mistery and evil. The controls are old school but you can get used to them in no time. The game takes about 35h with some of the side quest and exploration. Buy it and you won't regret it. I bought it when was originly lunched and now.

I Thought This Game Would Never End

Open ended role play
This is one of those games that either you love... or you just don't get. It's got a very open ended world that allows you to go anywhere and do anything. However, you can quickly lose sight of your main objectives. Some fans consider it more of an alive fantasy environment to interact with than an actual game with a plot. In game characters have lives, history, daily routines, even celebrate certain days of the years with traditional rituals and decorations.

One of the best games ever
Gothic has been part of my life for many, many years. I have played through the games in this series countless times. The first game has an amazing atmosphere and a great story. I love this world and these characters. It is one of the best games I have ever played.
