Добро пожаловать в Fort Solis
Ответив на необычный экстренный вызов с удалённой шахтёрской базы, Джек прибывает в мрачный и безлюдный Fort Solis. Изолированная шахтёрская база
Fort Solis угрюмо возвышается над ландшафтом и на многие уровни уходит под землю. Игроки могут исследовать истерзанную бурями поверхность, мрачные служебные тоннели без освещения и разные отсеки базы, обеспечивающие ее повседневные функции, в том числе, инженерный, медицинский и коммуникационный.

Great immersion, and always a joy to hear Clark's voice. The quicktime events can be pretty fast and I find myself messing them up most of the time... though that hasn't seemed to affect events too much so far. Definitely recommend this game... though the graphics requirements are a bit heavy. I had to do some tweaking to get playable framerates. Oh, and you have to manually set the game to QWERTY in the settings at the start, then restart to have it apply.
I genuinely enjoy narrative-driven adventures. I don’t mind if they’re slow burns, character-focused stories, and I love how they reward attention to detail. I went into this one expecting something similar.
And in many ways, it almost was. The production values are undeniably impressive: the audio design is crisp and atmospheric, the visuals are striking in their realism, and the performances are all top-tier. It’s clear the developers poured a lot of care into crafting a cinematic experience.
But despite all that, the game never clicked for me.
The biggest issue is its pacing. The plot moves at such a measured, almost sluggish speed that even as someone who likes slower narrative games, I found myself wishing for a bit more energy or tension. The story itself is intriguing but not particularly surprising, and the game doesn’t do much to break up its long stretches of walking and environmental interaction. It’s not that I need puzzles or action in a narrative game, but I do need some variety, and here everything is kept a little too minimal. We have a few QTEs here and there, and that’s it.
The other drawback is the length. It’s very short, about the length of a single movie which could be fine if the story landed harder. But given the slow pacing, the ending arrives before the experience feels fully developed. Instead of a tight, deliberate narrative arc, I was left with the feeling that the game ended just as things were getting interesting…
Still, I feel the immersion is strong, the atmosphere is beautifully realized, and the performances carry emotional weight. If you value presentation and enjoy quietly exploring a space while uncovering a mystery, this might work better for you. But for me, it ended up feeling a bit too brief and a bit too uneventful to leave a lasting impression. Trust me, there are many better titles in this genre, like 'Tacoma', 'The Invincible' or 'Observation', just to name a few.
Fort Solis is a walkin sim style horror game that takes place on Mars. It's somewhat similar to Deliver Us Mars, except this game is much shorter and there's no rock climbing.
I completed the game in just over 4h, but I thought it was fairly enjoyable, if a bit predictable. I also felt that the camera could have been placed better, as the character takes up too much of the middle of the screen obstructing your view.
It's not a game everyone is going to enjoy, but if you don't mind short games, or walking sim style games, you might enjoy this one. If not, then you'll likely want to give this one a pass.
I highly doubt devs are worried about reviews outside of Steam.
The game itself looks nice, only when it runs.
If there isn't frame drops, ghosting, blurry textures with pop-ins, and of course running DLSS or FSR3 and you get these squares in smoke and rain effects.
I've ran into my first gameplay issue. Got to the server room in the Comms area to lift the lockdown, and the game doesn't respond to input. I don't know what happened, but right before that, the game seemed like it was lagging. I've only seen that once before in another game.
I highly doubt I'll replay this after I'm done, or if i can even finish but at the time of this review, I would hope its not a game-breaking bug. Either way, I got it free with Amazon Prime/Luna, whatever it's called now in conjunction with Twitch.
