What a thrill!
Okay, I have no clue what "Rogue-like-like" means... not in the slightest. But I've just gone through the nicely presented (and nicely paced, yet brief) tutorial and have now embarked on a dangerous mission - I cannot give details... it's in my contract as Captain. But I can tell you that I have saved several ships in distress, taught a bully ship a lesson, acquired some useful parts and supplies, freed a slave and welcomed him to my crew, and am still remaining ahead of the threat that is bent on my destruction! I love how this game plays... if this is what 'Rogue-Like' resembles, perhaps I should look more into these sorts of games. Nonetheless, FTL is a delight to play. I have really come to 'know' each f my starting crew, and given them specific duties - thought they can and will multitask when needed. Great crew, great ship.. Super Game! There are many expansion mods made by the community and, from what I've seen, it's fairly simple to make them to add - should you want to give more players - and yourself - more and more expandability and fun as you live amongst the stars on a real purpose of great importance to mankind!
