The game was first prototyped as an award-winning and much-loved student project. The original team has reformed and expanded as Fireplace Games to increase the scope, sweep and grandeur of En Garde!
Filled playful banter and funn platforming this game will keep you on your toes with inncredibly fun zorro style swashbuckling gameplay if you like the adventurous feeling of jumping and using your surroundinngs as weapons and the enviroment to your advantage to gain the upper hand in fight I'd reccomend this to you and if you like souls' likes go ahead and try hard mode
Bonus points that the difficulty change doesn't just increase the health bars. The combat is really fun and the overall tone and feel of the game is quite charming and fun as well. The dialogue is cute and the story is satisfying to play out. It doesn't wear out its welcome and manages to keep the gameplay fun from moment to moment.
If the trailer catches your eye I recommend trying it out as the game plays out as fun as it advertises
