Dungeon Keeper Gold™

I played this on EA's Origin and i was very impressed, at first. Building a dungeon, exploring the map, raising your army and fighting 'the heroes' is a lot of fun. My only complaint, and its a big one, is that the missions quickly turn into a stalemate. Fighting other dungeon keepers sounds like fun and for the first two or three times it really was but i would launch attack after attack after attack and get no where. On one mission i spent over an hour just trading hits with the other dungeon and getting no where. The only way to win was to slowly grind away at him inch by inch until he finally broke down. That wouldn't be so bad but the next mission i had to do it again, then again and again. It became a chore to play through and i lost interest. I am very tempted to try Dungeon Keeper 2 if only to see if they fixed that problem.

Love this game. used to play it all day when i was a kid. no surprise i bought it. works great on windows 10 but i have no way to adjust sound or mouse sensitivity in the options menu. the slider bars are there but i cant select them and adjust. also defining keys i can open the list and change them but i cant scroll down to get to the rest of the assign options. otherwise it works perfectly as far as fps, audio, no tearing of graphics even though they are old resolution and rendering. dont know if that can be adjusted i dont think so. game works great. just cant adjust my mouse sensitiviy or the music and sound effects volume in game.

Love that game, but I can't play the deeper dungeons addition, just gives me the info to insert the disk, which obvs doesn't exist.

It was like a maze to get it to work, but GOG's support page on it helped a great deal, check it out if you have problems getting it to work. Though I wasn't able to fix the terrible frame-rate..I was stuck with 20 fps at max and around 5-10 fps in battles. That said, even at 10 fps it's one of the best games I've ever played.

Kinda clunky may be at first. But when you get the idea it's a really fun game! Press R for the best resolution and enjoy.
