Описание
Waking up on Mars with no memory and a wound you can’t explain, you begin a desperate search for answers - about yourself, your past, and the catastrophe looming over two worlds.
You soon meet Samantha Miles, an agent of a sketchy world-wide conglomerate, who claims to know you. As she helps you with your identity, you aid her in the quest to find a long lost friend and missing agent. When the original events of Doom 3 unfold, the two of you must scramble for safety while still tracking down the missing agent and your identity.
Haunted by fragmented memories and guided by the familiar voice of a girl named Lee, you’ll unearth bittersweet flashbacks, and fight for survival as a mysterious and deadly invasion spreads from the shadows of Mars.
Doom 3: Phobos is a free mod for Doom 3, available to anyone who owns the base game and DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil Expansion. It is developed non-commercially by Team Future.
Explore a new set of maps, enemies and story for the beloved old Doom 3 game.

The best Doom 3 single player compaign..
...but backtracking gameplay ruins all the fun of this game. You know, video games supposed to be fun for a good time, with a bit of challenge. And even though the developer is messing with the visual design and narrative, there's no way to easy progress. Yeah, I know, usually players need to pay attention to the environment. But the real life is complicated enough to torture yourself here and keep messing up again with old-fashioned video games. I wouldn't recommend this for people who want the aesthetics of Doom 3 with new bosses and intense demon killing. But it's good enough for the old-school FPS lovers, as mod it's nearly perfect.

Не стоит внимания, нисколько внимания
Вот ты появился, вот ты прошел пролог, вот начался день. Ты идешь. Ты идешь, идешь, бега нет, только шаг. Говорят иди в медотсек. Ты идешь в медотсек, идешь в лифт, идешь идешь, другой лифт, идешь идешь. Куча ответвлений в тупики, которые ничего не содержат. Опять идешь. Ооо, находишь медблок. Но куда в нем идти не понятно. И вот прошло 22 минуты, ты все это время шел. Если у вас есть любая другая игра, буквально любая, то играйте в эту другую игру. Вот это - просто мусор. За игру в это надо доплачивать игрокам. Я причем не против симуляторов ходьбы, Layers of fear например. Но там есть дизайн, там есть атмосфера, там жутко, там сюжет есть (хоть и очень небольшой, но есть). А тут - путешествие в медотсек. Кто сравнимает это вот с Халф лайф - эм, а где в Халф лайф полчаса ходьбы? Там бегать можно начиная со станции и всю игру. Тут - walking. Избегайте вот это вот поделие.
