Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition Demon Hunter Bundle

Had to request a refund for this game since it wouldn’t launch. We really appreciate GOG Galaxy in all that they do, but this kind of goes against the goals of your GOG preservation program. It shouldn’t be necessary for me to adjust settings or perform troubleshooting steps provided by GOG or search through pcgaming wiki for solutions, especially when I was assured this game would work perfectly. I’m optimistic that you can resolve this issue soon!

Stylish and fun to play. Only part I didn't like was I wish it gave more control over the camera angle. At first I could not get it to run on my PC. Basically the game is not designed to run at resolutions higher than 1080p. If your display has a native resolution higher than 1080, lowering the resolution will still not fix it. Same computer, different lower res monitor and the game launches and runs flawlessly. I know workarounds exist, but they are a little more challenging than plugging in a different screen.

Crashes on startup if monitor has a higher native resolution than 1080p. Can be fixed via hex editing. This is a prime example of how GOG's preservation program is a joke. The fix for this title is the same as the fix on STEAM. Thus, GOG have done nothing, released a previously buggy build, and call it fixed/preserved. What a joke! The game itself is Epic though.
