Genius! Wonderful! Masterpiece!

Genius! Wonderful! Extraordinary! Masterpiece! For such a small team (2+) it is an absolutely brilliant product!!! I liked everything and I'm going to go through it again, this time with the kids. Created World, brilliant comic illustrations, atmosphere of adventure, remarkable story, the distribution of difficulties as the game progresses, characteristic and charming characters, modern youth language filled with humor, puzzles based on the plot, not "technical" meaningless puzzles, great music - it all causes that you want to get back into the game. And the fun is for at least a few days. And even now, as I write this review, I am listening to the soundtrack which is included in the price. "Scattered woods (Night)" my favorite song :) You also get a beautiful, colorful, illustrated manual in pdf - 41 pages!!! Provides an extensive introduction and description of the world and creatures and game mechanics. Additionally, bonuses for progress in the game, e.g., a simple arcade game. This was a huge amount of high-quality work for the indie dev team. Karolina and Łukasz, you are my heroes! Respect! Good luck with your next games! Looking forward to it! Highly recommended it to all fans of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Discworld etc. P.S. Things I'd advise improving are: - the use of items could be more intuitive - at least one-click less; mixing items in the inventory is a pain because of that - option to run in high resolution

A nostalgic trip to point and click games

This is a fun point and click game with decent graphics, but for adults out there, better play it with your kids because you are not the target audience or at least try to see it as a child would. Yes, dinosaurs should have feathers and all that but is a game staring a cartoon dinosaur, what did you expect? The game is easy but won't solve everything for you, if you get stuck reading the encyclopedia and looking at the extras you unlock as you play the game will most likely help. The writing is very well done, and I could almost see this being an actual good cartoon back in the 90s and early 2000s. Beware however because this is a bit of an edutainment game, the graphics may not be realistic, but the real facts about dinosaurs are, so you are not only playing a game you are getting educated! Unfortunately, the game has a limited inventory system and while you can upgrade how many items you can carry as you play, is never enough to carry everything. That drags the game a bit as you are forced to backtrack to pick items you dropped before, because you need to use them. That and the lack of a quick travel or run button does slow the game, but it is also a way to encourage kids (and older players) to do some critical thinking. Still, a future update with a (optional) quick travel option would definitely make this game better for kids and less patient players. As it is, this game may frustrate some people but is still a very good option if you have a bit of patience.

Incredibly charming

Got this game back on Steam and I must say it's an absolute joy to play through. The artstyle and animations are very smooth, making for big visual appeal with very cute and animated designs. All the dinos are very distinct and got lots of personality, making me fall in love with the world spun in this game. The soundtrack really helped as well, setting a good mood in every area and scene. The story I found very interesting and the interactions between Zniw and the characters around her were entertaining to read through. Puzzles in this game felt like the right kind of difficulty. It can be hard to gauge at times but no puzzle had me hopelessly stuck for too long. Only criticism I could give there is that some optional goodies can be permanently missable by advancing the story and there were two areas that I missed at first due to lacking context clues that I could proceed there. Overall though Zniw Adventure is an incredibly fun and charming game I can wholeheartedly reccomend.

My favorite Adventure Game of all Time!

I already played Zniw Adventure on Steam and I'm happy it's now available on Steam! I played this game through and was very pleasantly surprised by the magical moments I experienced in Zniw Adventure. The many fluid cartoon animations, the gameplay, and the beautiful music round up the gaming experience. The story may not be anything special at first, but at the middle of the game, the player will quickly realize that there is much more behind the initially simple storyline and the story gets more deeper. I won't describe much of the story in detail at this point. Let's just say that Zniw gets into trouble while looking for the perfect Mother's Day gift and gets lost in the forest, among other things. The humor is great and outstanding! The humor of Zniw is very subtle and stands out for its situational comedy. Pay attention to the facial expressions and body language of each character. Zniw's sarcastic sayings made me fall off my chair laughing every time. What I also found very positively in Zniw Adventure are the encyclopedias, through which you can learn about the different dinosaur species. If you are interested in dinosaurs and want to learn about them, you should definitely play Zniw Adventure. This game offers high-class edutainment for young and old. The game is childfriendly, exciting, epic, funny and beautiful! As a dinosaur-loving kid from the 90's I wish I had already played such a beautiful game. If you've never played an adventure game before, then it'S about time to play Zniw Adventure!

A gem of a game! Highly recommended.

This game is very special! It is entirely hand drawn with traditional animation style that you don't find in many games nowadays, and playing it felt like playing in a motion picture cartoon. The main character is so cute that I just couldn't put this game down. Most of the puzzles make sense, and I found myself peeking in the walkthrough only rarely when I really felt stuck, such as of a certain location that I didn't realize was reachable to walk to and I missed it back and forth until I read in the walkthrough that it's there. The game has a built-in encyclopedia - not a real one but more of a fiction that contains information about many of the existings in the game; through your adventure you travel through different locations, and encounter with many characters, plants and other stuff. All these fill your encyclopedia with information while you travel, and you can access it to read further about the specific thing you're interested to learn more about. A very nice addition with wonderful drawings. Music is another thing I very liked in this game. The soundtrack is so well made that it "swallows" you into the colorized drawn locations and atmosphere, as if you're actually there. All that said and I haven't even mentioned the story yet - well, this game has an excellent (and funny!) story with many surprises, which makes you want to keep playing it to find what happens next until you fulfill the game. I'm 38 and really enjoyed this game from start to finish, and I highly recommend it for all ages from kids to adults. The only thing that this game doesn't have is speech, but don't judge a game only because it has no speech in it and give it a chance nevertheless. You won't regret. I hope you’ll find this review helpful and enjoy playing this game the same as I did. Cheers
