W kółko to samo

Gra w której jako adept magiczny przemierzamy losowo generowane lochy. Wszystko się zgadza ale o ile pierwsze minuty mogą się podobać to po pierwszym przejściu możemy się srogo zawieść, bo wszystko rozpoczynamy od nowa, za każdym nowym podejściem, a pięć czyli wszystkie poziomy możemy przejść w godzinę. I w sumie ta gra na tym bazuje i tego oczekuje od gracza że będziemy przechodzić ją w kołko, a w zamian odblokujemy nowe postacie czy nowe zdolności. Ja tego nie kupuję i raczej oczekiwałbym albo większej ilości poziomów na jedno przejście albo bonusów przy kolejnym rozpoczynaniu gry. Sam pomysł jest dobry ale założenia które zmuszają graczy do ciągłego powtarzania rozgrywki nie jest zrobiona prawidłowo i szybko nudzi. Plusy: + pomysł Minusy: - brak odczucia postępu - monotonia, mimo róznych rodzajów komnat - pięć poziomów i od nowa

Fun and easy to get into

I think this game deserves better review scores. It's really fun for what it is. Shooting is solid, there are various enemies, each playthrough is different, and there is always something coming next as you unlock things by playing the game, even if you do not perform best. Also, very easy to get into and have fun. No need to go through complex tutorials just to learn soon that it's not something you would not like. Of course , it's a game from a small studio, do not expect tons of content. Take it for what it is. I totally recommend this!

Enjoyable But Gets Old

This is a solid game for the low price (plus it's often on sale), but it's only good for a few runs before it gets a little stale. The gameplay and art style just aren't appealing enough to sustain it for more than a few hours, and certainly not the hundreds of hours all the unlockable characters and achievements would seem to indicate. The game is a fusion of first person shooter and roguelike, with randomized rooms, items and enemies. It's a genre that you don't see very often (Hypergun is another title that mixed these two, though Ziggurat does it better), and the fantasy theme rather than sci-fi or action makes it all the more unusual. Unfortunately, the art style is a bit bulky and cartoony, bringing to mind the exaggerated blockiness of World of Warcraft, and while there's a decent variety of enemies and items, there's not a ton of motivation to replay it once you've managed to beat it once. Recommended for a fun diversion, but if you like games with an involving plot, beautiful environments or a sense of steady progress, it's probably not something you'll come back to very often.

Meat and seasoning, sans potatoes

Fantasy Serious Sam with roguelike formula - that and the che cartoony graphics charmed me. The game threw me into action in less than two minutes, but after 30 I don't feel a need to return for now. I died once and defeated a boss once, and was not hooked by the gameplay. Specifically, the promise of more enemies and items and skills does not offset the floaty feel of movement and the early, simplistic gunplay.
