Good, but hard

It's a very good game. It's also a very complex game, a lot more so than it looks. Take a few minutes, read the manual. Not everything is as random as it looks, but some stats don't have visible bars. You will die a lot at first, you will die quickly. Eventually you figure things out and you'll make progress that feels like you actually accomplished something. Again...read the manual, it will save you so much time.

Worth a shot!

Different from any other zombie game i've played recently. More of a social interaction simulator in a zombie apocalysm. High replayability and nice survivor customization possibilities. Overall, very good, but hard as ****!

Extremely good

I read the other reviews, especially about the difficulty, and yep, that's right, it's pretty much impossible to do. The latest patch introduces "No survivors" mode however, which is a lot easier, and you can last a while by barricading yourself inside. There are a few problems, such as barricades suddenly breaking down after one or two hits, without any real feedback, leaving your safehouse in ruins, or dilemmas in game which are just to screw you without any fault on your behalf. However, that's where modding comes in - the game is easily moddable, and you can even add your own classes in, and import your friends pictures, and locations, to make the place your own. I really enjoyed this, especially for the bargain price here at Gog. It really needs more people to play it!

Interesting but also lacking

I feel like this could have been a flash game. Granted the graphics are better but otherwise the gameplay is a little slow-ish. I bought it and I don't regret the decision but there can be some really annoying moments. For example: how does it take 7 hours to remove 1 of 3 corpses from a kitchen? Someone that inept should never have made it into the survival situation in the first place.

Nice but damn hard

Gorgeous graphics (mostly static), an interesting premise and a set of incredibly hard game mechanics... Zafehouse introduces some fresh air beyond the usual flash-game-style zombie survival, such as the relationship between members and the job skills. The best part is the fully configurable map and survivor set, that will let you play with your coworkers in the office building, or with an all-star action hero company in your town, or anything you will want to try.
