Okay at a discount
The game was fun enough, but short - okay at a discount price I got it for, but I don't think I'd consider it worth the full one. ...at least until the final boss, who was an exercise in frustration (on Easy difficulty, no less), and I gave up after a bunch of attempts and looking up how to beat him on Youtube, that one wasn't fun in the slightest. Mess that's trying to aim the grenades in the heat of battle (and with zero cover in that fight) didn't help either, 3/4 of the time or more they flew hell knows where, instead of at the boss. (until then I mostly dealt with enemies using other weapons) I gave up after that and decided to watch the remainded on Youtube. Overall verdict: 4 base stars, minus one for the nonsense that the final boss is.

Decent MG clone. Meh writing.
The gameplay is a solid Metal Gear adaptation, but the writing is not as funny as it pertains to be. Metal Gears are already long in the tooth regarding exposition, and when you combine that with the lack of tacking itself seriously, the dialog is mostly a slog. Still, if you have ever played a Metal Gear, you will get the intent of the humor, and there are enough interesting ideas to keep you entertained, and even some genuine laughs. There are lots of creative ideas, but they are targeted at people who laugh too easy at jokes. Anyone who tells you this is hilarious writing is setting a low bar. Gameplay and pacing wise, I'd rate it above MG and that game boy one (can't speak for 2), below MGS 1 2 or 3, and equal or better than any MGS after 3.

Fun, but with a sexist last joke
I enjoyed the game and its sense of humor... until the last joke. Lying to a girl in order to take advantage of her is sexist. It ruined the mood for me and it left me with a bad taste: the guy I thought was cool and funny suddenly became a jerk.
