Excellent game but with many bugs

Ghost recon was an excellent game when it appeared years ago. Of course, the image quality might look obsolete compared to more recent games. But the interest is still there. A good scenario, great misssions. You still need very good tactical skills to place your 3 fireteams when moving on the maps. But - I don't know why - this GOG version has many bugs that I haden't noticed when I first played with it. Starting with mission 10, with the tanks getting stucked in the streets, trying to enter buildings. Then, in mission 11, slow downs and problems saving the party.

Crawl for your life

At first his game may appear a bit dated but once you get past the surface, you realize just how incredibly immersive it still feels. The mod "Heroes Unleashed," a 15 year passion project that overhauls the AI and adds TONS of new content, is a must. There's still a good community of fans behind this and it has quickly become one of my tops. Yes you need to look for the expansions elsewhere, but there are ways to install them to a temporary folder then move the contents over to the GOG game directory. You'll just need to google the instructions and apply a bit of patience. The game is quite enjoyable without them, especially with Heroes Unleashed.

The best tactical shooter ever!

And please, people who didn’t play it yet, don’t compare original Ghost Recon (this) with all what was made after under the same name. Only the first part (this) is a really tactical shooter, all what came later is half-arcade-style, also Adwanced Warfighter. Dear GOG, I’m sure you read many feedbacks about the games here. Why don’t you hear the voices of native Ghost Recon fans and don’t offer official addons - Desert Siege and Island Thunder??? Please give us a possibility to by here these addons!

Great game of my childhood

Great unforgiving tactical game, with great visuals and especially sound when it was released. I do hope Desert Siege and Island Thunder expansions will be available on GOG.

I love this game.

My first game I did play online. Still love it but there is no DLCs however you can still find amazing mods online.
