Great game, if too brief
I profoundly enjoyed this game! This is one of the best metroidvanias I've ever played. I grabbed it on sale, here on GOG, but once I played through it, I went out of my way to purchase a physical copy on Switch. I cannot recommend it enough - it's fun without being overly punishing. I know some folks love getting punished, but I am of the opinion that metroidvanias are not the place for it, personally. This game balances rewarding developing skill with actual fun, and even has a stellar soundtrack and story, to boot!
