So well written for a video game...

This world feels alive. I'm sure the fact that the developers had the benefit of the novels having already established the setting helped a great deal, but this is still the best written video game I have ever played. They did a fantastic job in fleshing out the characters and their motivations, bringing them to life in a way that feels genuine. The bloody baron's storyline is incredible and left me not knowing how to feel. I couldn't stand Yen at first, but she ended up being one of my favorite characters after a few story events revealed a different side to her. Even the minor characters and quests often leave a lasting impression - googling quest outcomes will often serve up forum threads full of heated debates about whether a choice is right or wrong. Sometimes there is no right answer, no greater reward to offset your guilt. Important characters can and will die because of your decisions. If you like story driven gameplay where your choices really matter, look no further. Years after it released there's still no equal to the Wild Hunt and with Cyberpunk on the horizon I'm more than a little nervous - CD Projekt Red has set one hell of a high bar for themselves with this game.

Best game ever, cant wait cyberpunk 2077

Already played goty edition on ps4 pro, and done every quest, sidequest literally every inch on the map. Now thinking should i buy it for pc too because graphics and framerate. Its so good game and thinking starting it again, hmm, maybe i just buy the game and start playing again it from beginning

Best RPG game I´ve ever played

I have played it in PS4, and I¨ve ended the game three times, in the hardest dificulties, with all the DLCs´completed. 1400 hours inverted in this game, amazing game <3<3<3<3<3<3<3.

Rebuy for GOG. Got 100% again. TOO GOOD

This review is 3 years late but it's still good to remind people how amazing this game is. I played it when it was first out in 2016 on Steam. It was too good I got all achievements there. Then a few months ago I bought it again on GOG and also got all achievements again here. Why waste all this money and time? Because The Witcher 3 is simply an amazing game that's worth it. Now I don't think the game is 100%. Far from it, it has many flaws: -The Main Storyline is weak, where sub story quests are more interesting or even side quests are more interesting than the Main Story. -The combat of the game isn't anything special. It's not bad but it's slightly good. -Lastly, this is something bad for me but could be very good for others, is that the game has way too many side quests for my taste. You've probably heard that the best thing about The Witcher 3 is the side quest as each one has its own story and they are very beautiful made and that is very true. Except that there are way too many for my own taste. It got to the point where it got tedious and exhausting to do them all that I felt maybe if the number of sidequests was tuned down a bit and focused more on the main would have been better. But like I said this is my personal preference. The Witcher 3 also features two amazing crafted DLCs that are worth more than their price and they include stories are better than the main game's story. And it that's not enough, it has a huge set of amazing characters. Alot of amazing Witcher Gear. A fun crafting system and a very cool and enjoyable card game called GWENT. If you haven't bought the game yet, you should. But please be aware that this is a very long game that it can take you up to a month to finish and even more. Thanks for reading.
